PCS Accomodations

We are honored to be a provider of high-quality, all-inclusive accommodations for clients attending the PCS intensive program. The PCS intensive is a 1-2 week program for individuals experiencing a crisis in their life, feel stuck in their current therapy, desire to move more quickly through their issues, or are simply impatient with one to two hours a week of therapy.

With a staff of over 25 therapists, a PCS Intensive can address compulsive and addictive behavior (chemical, sexual, gambling, food, etc.), prior traumas (sexual, physical, emotional), relationship difficulties (communication, sexual, conflict, etc.), and mood disorders. We have a long standing relationship with PCS and our staff is very experienced with the unique needs of clients attending the PCS intensive.

Camelback Recovery specializes in supportive housing for clients in early recovery from alcohol and substance dependence disorders as well as trauma and stressor-related disorders, depressive and anxiety disorders, eating disorders and process addictions. Having an alcohol or substance abuse history is not a requirement to stay in our home, however total abstinence from all mind-altering substances is.

What It’s Like

Our homes are gender-specific communities of men and women bonded together by their shared journey through recovery. Our program utilizes a social model with an emphasis on self-care and physical wellness which we have found to be most advantageous to fulfilling, successful long-term recovery. Our hands-on leadership team and full-time housing staff is dedicated to providing high levels of accountability, support and daily structure to empower our clients in their transition back into independent living.

Most PCS clients arrive Saturday morning to be greeted by our house manager and drop off their bags before taking an Uber/Lyft to PCS to begin their week. The PCS intensive is one to two weeks so most PCS clients depart the following Saturday morning or next. We can often accommodate a Friday check-in or Sunday check-out depending on availability. Your stay with us will be tailored to suit your needs.

This means our house managers are comfortable holding your electronics at night, not giving you access to wifi or adjusting curfew if requested. This also means we will wait to prepare dinner later so you can eat with the whole community after group. We have private and shared suites available to allow you to process the work you are doing without being completely isolated. We can’t emphasize enough how helpful our clients find our supportive community during their stay with us.

Pricing

Pricing is all-inclusive and the weekly rate fluctuates seasonally. Private rooms are usually available. We have a fully stocked kitchen for you to prepare your own breakfast and take snacks or lunch with you to PCS. In the evening, we will prepare a family-style meal with the whole house. Client Requirements

• Client must be at least 18 years old.
• Client must be able to pass a UA drug screen and breathalyzer. Client must not be taking prescribed methadone, oral buprenorphine, benzodiazepines, opiates or amphetamines/amphetamine-like substances. Clients prescribed naltrexone or implanted buprenorphine are accepted. Exceptions can be made for clients prescribed certain controlled substances demonstrating a strong medical necessity for their continued use.
• Clients required to attend PCS intensive full-time.
• Clients must submit to drug testing 2x per week and random breathalyzing.
• Clients must be at the home by curfew.
• Clients must agree to abide by all the rules of the home and treat others with respect at all times.
